A/Prof Kalish is an adult and paediatric Ear Nose and Throat surgeon with subspecialty interests in Rhinology, allergy and snoring. He is the director of the Sydney Sinus & Allergy Centre, the Head of Department of Concord Hospital ENT department, which is a tertiary referral centre for advanced Rhinology.  A/Prof Kalish is a clinical associate professor at the University of Sydney and a member of the Auatralian Rhinology and Skull base Research Group.
 
He is the ASOHNS NSW CPD co-ordinator.  He is the Founding member and Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee for East Sydney Private Hospital . He is also a member of the Australia and New Zealand Rhinologic Society (ANZRS), American Rhinologic Society (ARS), European Rhinologic Society (ERS) and Australasian Society for Clinical immunology and Allergy (ASCIA).
