General Information

ACCOMMODATION
Please ensure you settle your accommodation account directly with the hotel on departure, including all meals, telephone calls and mini bar charges.

AUDIO VISUAL TECHNICIAN
AV Technicians will be onsite throughout the conference. Speakers – please ensure you download your presentations at the technician’s desk in each conference room prior to your presentation time.

CAR PARKING
Hilton Hotel has onsite car parking spaces available at a cost of $16 per night. Please do note these are subject to availability. Valet Parking is available for $40 per night.

CELLPHONES
These must be set to silent mode when the conference is in session. Don't turn them off though or you won't be able to use the mobile app!

CREDIT CARDS & PAYMENT
Accepted cards are Visa, Mastercard and AMEX. Payment may also be made by cheque, payable to “Workz4U Conference Trust Account”. All fees quoted are in New Zealand Dollars and are inclusive of GST. Payment for registration must be received prior to the commencement of the conference.

INDUSTRY EXHIBITION
An Exhibition will be co-ordinated by our Professional Conference Organisers. Expressions of interest in participating in the exhibition or sponsoring the Conference are welcomed. Delegates, please make every effort to visit the exhibition stands during breaks. 

LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
Neither the Society or the Professional Conference Organisers, will accept liability for damages of any nature sustained by participants or their accompanying persons or loss or damage to their personal property as a result of the meeting or related events. In the event of any disruption or other unforeseen circumstances, the Professional Conference Managers accept no responsibility for loss of monies or property.

MESSAGES
Messages may be left with staff at the registration desk. Please check for messages as no announcements will be made.

NAME BADGES
Please wear your name badge at ALL meeting sessions and social functions.

REFRESHMENTS
Catering, as scheduled in the programme and the Welcome Reception, will be served in the Exhibition area.

REGISTRATION & INFORMATION DESK
The registration desk is located in the Remarkables Foyer and will be open at the following times:
Friday 24 October 2025, 7:00am-6:00pm
Saturday 25 October 2025, 7:00am-5:30pm

NO SMOKING POLICY
Delegates should be aware that smoking is banned in public buildings and many hotels and restaurants in New Zealand, including the Conference venue.

SOCIAL FUNCTIONS
Social function icons will be printed on your name badge if you have requested or purchased social function tickets. Should you wish to book or purchase any additional tickets please contact the registration desk.

SPECIAL DIETS
A separate table will be available for those with special dietary requirements. Please advise a member of the catering staff should you require assistance.

WiFi is complimentary at the venue.
